Terms of Service

Pre-PA Bestie, a project of The PA Platform, LLC · Last updated June 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

Pre-PA Bestie ("the Service") is operated by The PA Platform, LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Is (and Isn’t)

Pre-PA Bestie is an educational planning tool for prospective physician assistant students. It provides school information, GPA estimates, readiness self-assessments, timelines, essay brainstorming, and related study tools.

The Service is a preparation aid only. We have no relationship with, or influence over, any PA program, CASPA, or admissions decision. Nothing in the Service is a prediction or guarantee of admission, interview invitations, or test results. GPA calculations are estimates using CASPA-style methodology — CASPA’s own verified calculation is authoritative. School data can change at any time; always verify requirements directly with each program.

The Service is not medical, legal, or financial advice.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old (16 outside the United States). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

The Service offers a free tier with daily usage limits and a paid "BFF" subscription (monthly or annual) processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, though we want you to be happy — contact us at info@thepaplatform.com and we’ll do our best to make it right.

Prices and the features included in each tier may change; we’ll give notice of material changes before they affect an active subscription.

5. AI-Generated Content

Some features (including essay brainstorming and transcript import) use artificial intelligence to generate suggestions or extract information. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, and for the accuracy and authenticity of anything you submit to CASPA or a program. CASPA requires application materials to be your own original work — our brainstorming output is a starting point, not a substitute for your own writing.

6. Your Content

You own the content you put into the Service (essays, notes, journal entries, uploaded documents). You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service, including sending it to our service providers (such as our AI provider) for processing. Uploaded transcripts are processed to extract coursework and are not retained as files.

If you submit school tips or other community content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the Service. We may remove community content that is inappropriate, offensive, or inaccurate.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: share your account; scrape, resell, or republish Service content or data; reverse engineer the Service; abuse usage limits or referral programs (including self-referrals or fake accounts); upload content that is unlawful or infringes others’ rights; or use the Service to harm others. We may revoke referral rewards earned through abuse.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its content, design, and software, is owned by The PA Platform, LLC and its licensors. You may use it for your personal, non-commercial application preparation only. "GRE" is a registered trademark of ETS, which does not endorse this Service.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that information in the Service (including school data, deadlines, costs, and calculated estimates) is accurate, complete, or current.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The PA Platform, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities (including admission outcomes), arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access for violation of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 8, 9, and 11) survive.

11. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
